Short husky ride in Tornio and Haparanda with LappOne Experiences.
We pick you up from your hotel and drive to our office in HaparandaTornio. There you are given basic information on the experience and security instructions alongside the proper arctic clothes; we then depart towards the Leipijärvi.
Experience the forest of Tornedalen as you sit on a sled behind a team of siberian huskies. Before we take off we will meet the dogs, and get them ready for the ride.
As we are getting ready to leave, the dogs are getting excited and ready to take off. They just love to run! We travel in the woods, and over the lake. After the tour we will have ”fika” and talk about the experience.
If you want you have a chance to spend time with the dogs after the tour. The tour takes aprox 20 min/ tour, and we will do two or three trips, depending on the size of the family. While waiting you can hang iut with the dogs that are not running or play in the snow. Or you can hang out in a heated cottage or tipi tent. After the tour we will talk about the tour and have something warm to drink, and something to snack on.
Then we drive you back in the hotel (20-25 minutes).
