Hike to the easternmost point of Sweden

3 Hours

Hike to the easternmost point of Sweden with LappOne – The five sense of Lapland

We pick you up at your hotel or in the HaparandaTornio Resecentrum, where you try on your winter gear (overalls, shoes).

We then drive you to Riekkola – Valivaara to hike to the easternmost point of Sweden. This is the Easternmost point in Sweden. We start our trek in the frozen forest: by following the nature trail you come to a birdwatching tower. Here you have a view of both Ebonsviken and the wetland. If you follow the trail and the track heading westwards you come to a hearth in the middle of the forest. The path extends to reach the Easternmost point of Sweden, where you can take a picture with Finland in the background.

The trek consists in 3-4 km walking on medium difficulty flat terrain, you will be provided with a light snack and a hot drink.
We then drive you back to your hotel (up to 30 minutes).
