NASA has predicted that in 2012 there will be the brightest northern lights over the past 50 years.

This wonderful and amasing video explains the creation of this phenomenon from a scientific point of view. But the ancient Lappish stories, handed down from generation to generation, tell about dances of goblins, light that can be heard, divine messages and a tail of a fire fox. Science or myth?
